Have you ever been “bet-your-life-on-it-sure” of something? Like the time you were sure it wouldn’t rain–so much so, that you gave your co-worker a hard time for lugging an umbrella around–until you stepped out into a monsoon and were drenched getting into your car?
After walking through more than a year of global uncertainty, loss, grief and change, it can be hard to imagine ever feeling sure of anything again. In fact, it’s far more likely that we’ll all be lugging preverbal umbrellas with us for the foreseeable future. (Though, good grief, it’s hard to imagine that our weary arms can take much more precautionary lugging.) What would it look like if we were reacquainted with something of which we could BE SURE? Like, sure as the sun will rise, kind of sure? It would be worth the reacquaintance, wouldn’t it? Goodness, gracious, we think so!
We are digging in to discover goodness that is as persistent as the sun with worship artists EB and Shane Cole, powerful faith stories from our own women, and a word from Kristen Carr.
