3 cups boiling water
4 1/2 tsp instant coffee
6 tbsp chocolate syrup
1 quart whole milk
1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream
Combine the boiling water and instant coffee in a pitcher. Allow to cool completely. Combining the chocolate syrup and milk in a separate pitcher. Put the ice cream into the center of a punch bowl. Add the chocolate milk and then slowly pour the hot coffee mixture over the ice cream allowing the ice cream to melt into a frothy punch.
