Hello Sweet Friends,
Today’s Reading … Matthew 28, Mark 16, Luke 24, John 20-21 and Acts 1-6
Hallelujah! He is risen! Christ, God’s Greatest Gift to us has conquered sin and death. We are no longer bound by the law, no longer striving for relationship with a holy God. The veil is torn. Covered in the perfect blood of Christ we are more than conquerers in any situation. Loved. Covered. Healed. Forgiven. Victorious.
Today, when the enemy starts whispering his lies to your heart, remember this verse:
“and as the women were terrified and bowed their faces to the ground, the men said to them, ‘Why do you seek the living One among the dead?’” (Luke 24:5).
Where are you feeling terrified, tempted to bow your face to the ground? Chin up! Heart up! We are no longer in the tomb. Jesus has called us out of the grave. When you are overwhelmed, with your face bowed to the ground, stop and ask yourself, “Why do you seek the living One among the dead?”
In the tomb: I am not enough. I have sinned too much. My sins are too great. I have run too far. I cannot survive this. I cannot accomplish this. This relationship is too broken. This mountain is too big, this valley too deep. I cannot face this day. I have to strive more, to be more.
“Why do you seek the living One among the dead?”
After the resurrection: Any multitude of sins is forgiven. No sin is too great. You are never too far from God to return to Him. In the power of Christ, you can survive anything he allows in your life. With Christ all things are possible. God can mend any relationship. No mountain is too big for Christ and He is with you in the deepest valleys. You never face a day alone, His mercies are new every morning. Cease striving, it is finished, you are made perfect through Jesus. You do not have to be more, He is enough in you.
Christ walked out of the grave and reality shifted for eternity. Live in this new reality. Live in His sufficient grace. Live in His mercy. Live in His power. Live in His sovereignty. Live in His presence. Live like one completely forgiven, healed, and victorious.
Live. Do not “look for the Living One among the dead.” Live.
God’s Greatest Gift is celebrated in the Gospels and to wrap up this theme here is your latest printable!
Love you all,
Kinsee
