Marsha is passionate about helping women understand their potential to influence the world around them no matter their season in life. She seeks to lead a ministry where women know Jesus personally and experience forgiveness, wholeness and freedom. She is committed to building a community where women can embrace the unconditional love and unstoppable power of Christ in their lives.
Marsha joined the JFBC staff in July 1995 as Minister to Women. Through her life experiences and professional training in seminary and as a registered oncology nurse, God prepared her to identify the unique challenges and struggles facing women in today’s world. From the beginning God clearly said “this is mine” and continues to guide Marsha as she leads this large and flourishing ministry to women in her church and community. She claims I Thessalonians 5:24 as her theme verse, “He who calls you is faithful and He will do it,” and loves to speak of God’s faithfulness in equipping her to understand His plans. Marsha intentionally developed a ministry-wide mission statement aligning with her desire to encourage, equip and empower women. She leads the ministry as they accomplish this through Bible studies, small groups, events and local and international missions.
Marsha enjoys eating chips & cheese with the grandkids, going to Broadway shows, walking regularly and is an avid reader and lifetime learner. She is married to Bob and they have two daughters and sons-in-laws and four grandchildren.
